Willow Oak Farm White Labradors is a family owned and operated business. We are a small breeder of white/light cream Labrador Retrievers near Richmond VA. We have fallen in love with these wonderful animals, for their beauty and temperament. They are AKC Registered, OFA Good or Excellent, and genetic tested.
Our mission is to provide families with the healthiest and best suited labrador friend and family member as possible for their lifetime.
Our first priority is healthy dogs by using genetic and orthopedic testing and selective breeding.
Secondly, we want to produce the most beautiful and lightest colored Labradors that we can, through selective breeding.
Finally, we want each puppy to be as well socialized as possible and to be a joy in their new home. We do this by raising the pups in our home with constant human interaction. Renee is a seasoned physical therapist with a 40 year focus on pediatrics and early intervention. She has had fun over those past years incorporating some of the P.T. techniques for infants and toddlers such as multisensory learning activities into our puppy program.
In simple terms, they go to their new families happy and "pre-spoiled".
Our lifestyle choice over the years is for the farm life. We are still a little old school in that we garden and raise our own beef, poultry, and eggs. Renee has studied animal nutrition and has excellent veterinary guidance, so is able to supplement our dogs with wholesome home prepared meals.
Our children have always been well integrated in raising and caring for our dogs, and now many Years later our grandchildren are picking it up and participating with the pups. So it's a family passion here at Willow Oak Farm White Labradors!
